New Harry Styles Figures Revealed at Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds announced that seven new figures of pop star Harry Styles will be on display at museum locations around the world.
The different figures combine some of Styles’ most adored red carpet and performance outfits, including one inspired by his My Policeman premiere outfit. This figure will be on display at Madame Tussauds in London and features Styles in a dark-green suit jacket, pearl necklace, and pistachio trousers.
The choice to add Styles to the collection came from an overwhelming number of fan requests.
Global brand director of Madame Tussauds, Angela Jobson, stated, “Harry is one of the biggest stars in the world right now. From filling stadiums worldwide with his sellout tours to being a fashion influencer, there is no denying he has left a timeless mark on popular culture. When the opportunity came up there was no hesitation, we jumped at the chance to add the Grammy award-winning superstar to our collection, and we cannot wait for fans to see him at any one of the seven venues worldwide.”
The international reveal of Styles’ statues is the most significant event since Madame Tussauds introduced eight Lady Gaga figures in 2010.
The seven statues of Styles will be on display in New York, Hollywood, London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Sydney, and Berlin. The “As It Was” singer’s iconic rainbow jumpsuit from his 2022 Coachella set will be featured at Madame Tussauds in New York.
The pop star is the perfect candidate for such a launch. The Grammy-winner has performed 109 shows in 20 different countries in 2022. Additionally, he has made his mark on the big screen, starring in Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling and the queer romance film, My Policeman.
“We tried to pick the very best people that are out there — people that crush the market in the world, changed something, and created a big name for themselves,” marketing manager of Madame Tussauds New York, Tiago Mogadouro exclaimed. “We felt that it was just right to honor one of the biggest music performances in the world.”
