Dua Lipa Fans Can Expect a New Album in 2024
Dua Lipa has revealed that she plans to release a new album in 2024, leaving fans anticipating the superstar’s next musical project.

The hit singer spoke with The New York Times in a recent interview, where she revealed details regarding her upcoming album, which will be Lipa’s third. Lipa assured her fans that “the next record will still be pop;” however, Lipa also stated that she is experimenting with “1970s-era psychedelia.” In addition, she made sure to note that her latest project will be “more personal,” but she does not want “people to dig into the music in this weird, analytical way.” Although the album is expected to include a group of collaborators, Lipa did not address rumors that she is working with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.
Mark Ronson, the executive producer of the Barbie soundtrack and featured on Lipa’s hit “Electricity,” spoke with Vulture and shared that he had heard some of Lipa’s upcoming album. Ronson felt that the album is “incredible.” Furthermore, Ronson discussed Lipa’s soundtrack “Dance the Night” by stating it was “her triumphant stomp on that era of her music.”

In addition to Lipa’s musical contributions to Barbie, she also played the role of a blue-haired mermaid Barbie throughout the film. Costars Issa Rae, Hari Nef, Ritu Arya, and Ana Cruz Kayne fulfilled the roles of various other Barbies in the movie.
Although Lipa has yet to provide fans with a release date for her album, they most likely will not have to wait long until they can jam out to her new tunes. For now, Lipa’s fans can enjoy her hit “Dance the Night,” available on Barbie: The Album. Other artists featured on the album include Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Ava Max, Sam Smith, Tame Impala, and plenty more.
