Olivia Rodrigo Shuts Down Rumors of Feud With Taylor Swift
As singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo gains recognition for her newly released album, GUTS, fans are speculating which songs are about whom. X (formerly Twitter) has exploded with conspiracies about possible feuds since her release of SOUR and continues following the release of GUTS. Rodrigo has since denied any sort of feud.
According to Variety, Rodrigo states, “I don’t have beef with anyone. There’s nothing to say… There’s so many Twitter conspiracies.”

The question of what sparked these rumors surfaced before the release of Rodrigo’s debut album. Rodrigo has openly expressed her love for the famous performer Taylor Swift, while Swift returned the love and showed support.
Once SOUR was released, fans noticed a distance between the two artists. Rodrigo was accused of copying songs from the band Paramore, as well as Swift herself. Due to the controversial opinions, Rodrigo gave credit to both artists. Fans noticed the distance around the time Rodrigo gave credit to Swift. X arose with rumors that there had been an argument between them, causing their friendship to break.
Finally, Rodrigo has debunked any and all feuds, as she wants to focus on herself as a songwriter and performer.
