Taylor Swift announces the global release of her new film Taylor Swift: Eras Tour Concert Film. The film will be released on October 13 in more than 100 countries.

As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour comes to a close, fans everywhere are getting ready to press play on Swift’s new film.

Taylor Swift had previously shared her love for the Eras Tour and just how impactful it has been for the singer. Swift has encouraged her fans to bring the same community-building energy and love to the theaters that were seen in concert.

Within the first 24 hours, ticket sales had broken AMC’s U.S. record for single-day sales. With such an overwhelming demand for the film, AMC is currently working to reach a screening agreement in other international theaters.

Swift’s record-breaking tour has fans desperate for an inside glimpse and behind-the-scenes look at the tour highlights. The singer announced Tuesday that Taylor Swift: Eras Tour Concert Film would be released in theaters around the world alongside theaters across the U.S. Swift announced the global release by stating, “The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide….”

Swift started her Eras Tour in March and performed 35 shows across the U.S., along with four sold-out shows in Mexico City. The singer is on a much-needed break before picking things back up to continue the tour overseas.

As Swift is set to take her “Eras Tour” internationally in the upcoming months, global fans will get a tease of what’s to come.

The film is already set to release in more than 100 countries worldwide, including all ODEON locations across Europe. Once released, the film will be in theaters until November 5, and it is unclear at this time if more dates will be announced in the future.

The movie is set to run 2 hours and 40 minutes, quite a bit shorter than the concert’s 3 hour and 15 minute run time. With such a large section of the show taken out, some fans are curious to see what elements of the show were cut from the film. No other content regarding the film has been released.

Tickets are currently on sale for Taylor Swift: Eras Tour Concert Film across the globe. Be sure to get your seats before they sell out.
