LAFW Presents New Innovative Fashion Tech and LA Designers
From October 18 to 22, L.A. Fashion Week by N4xt Experiences presents new innovative fashion tech and upcoming L.A. designers.
This year will be the second season of N4xt Experiences organizing L.A. Fashion Week. Last year’s LAFW conveyed sustainability themes, vibrant colors, and eclectic designs. This year will be just as refreshing. And with the first brand to commence L.A. Fashion Week, Imitation of Christ, there’s no doubt it will be a refreshing experience.
“Organized in the exhibition room dedicated to Eric Yahnker’s fun drawings, Imitation of Christ’s show started with opera songs and dancing silhouettes,” stated Fashion Network.
As the live performance fashion show continued, designer guests were encouraged to collect pieces and recreate their designs amid the dancing. The goal was to enlighten the fashion world with upcycling unwanted clothing whether the selective pieces are high street fashion or vintage couture, sustainability is a profound theme this L.A. Fashion Week.
“Technology will be a big piece of this year’s LAFW as well, from a Masterclass on Fashion in the X.R. Frontier to the SAP Experience,” explained The Hollywood Reporter. “An immersive on-site retail space where attendees can select pieces from the designers on display each day and leave with their own unique designer LAFW collection.”
This season’s designers are building their shows around the concept of virtual experiences and hands-on campaigns, incorporating them magnificently into the fashion sphere.
“L.A. Fashion Week has been implementing digital and film presentations more than most fashion weeks, which is a nod to future ways of exploring fashion,” stated Women’s Wear Daily.
L.A. Fashion Week has generated inclusivity and individuality from concepts like sustainability, virtual shows, and masterclasses. Furthermore, luxury fashion consumers sought the same gumption from New York, London, Paris, and Milan fashion shows, where the other most well-known fashion weeks denoted heritage proved that static creativity in fashion is still alive.
This year’s L.A. Fashion Week will include Sergio Hudson, Demobaza, Tiffany Brown, Gypsy Sport, Neon Cowboys, and many more.
With so much ingenuity surrounding LAFW concepts, the fashion industry has several things to look forward to in the coming days.
