Taylor Swift Makes History Winning 10 Billboard Music Awards
Taylor Swift has done it again…and again. After the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift is now tied for most ever BBMA wins.
Swift was nominated for 20 different categories but took home 10 awards. The iconic artist won for being Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Billboard Global 200 Artist, Top Billboard Global (Excluding U.S.) Artist, Top Hot 100 Songwriter, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Selling Song (“Anti-Hero”).
After her major success, she shared a message with her fans expressing her gratitude.
“Well this is unreal… the fact that you guys have given me 10 Billboard Awards. I’m talking to the fans specifically. None of this happens without you,” Swift stated in a speech filmed backstage during her Eras Tour.
She continued, “The Billboards base everything off of what you are listening to and what you’re passionate about, and I’m so honored that this year you made The Eras Tour so magical.”

The Top Artist further expresses her gratitude by thanking her fans are watching her movie and caring about her re-recordings. Swift felt “like the luckiest person in the world to have you in my corner and caring about the music that I make.”
“So thank you… thank you, thank you, thank you 10 million times…for this,” she added.
Swift continues to hold her title as the most-awarded female artist at the Billboard Music Awards but that’s not all. She is now officially tied with Drake for the most award artists of all time with 39 BBMA’s, according to ET.
Drake took home five wins this year for Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Male Artist, Top Rap Touring Artist, Top Rap Album (Her Loss featuring 21 Savage), and Top Rap Song (“Rich Flex”).
With Swift’s striking 10 wins, she also comes second to Morgan Wallen winning 11 this year. Both Swift and Drake have won 39 BBMA trophies in total.
