Trevor Noah To Host Grammys for Fourth Year
Trevor Noah is returning to the Grammys differently in 2024. Not only is he hosting for the fourth time, but he is also a nominee for Best Comedy Album.
“I’m hosting the Grammys. I’m excited about that, yeah,” Noah expressed on his podcast, What Now? With Trevor Noah on Thursday, December 14. “It’s a lot of fun. I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience and comment on it in person while it’s happening.”
Also, on the same day, the South African comedian shared a joint announcement on Instagram with his podcast provider, Spotify.
“I’m so excited! #GRAMMYs baby! Tune in Sunday, February 4th at 8pm! On @CBSTV!,” the caption stated.
In addition, Noah will serve as a producer alongside Executive Producers Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, and Jesse Collins. For the fourth consecutive year, the 66 annual Grammy Awards will be produced by Fulwell 73 Productions for the Recording Academy.
However, that’s not all. Noah has been nominated for Best Comedy Album for I Wish You Would, becoming the fifth Grammy host nominated that same year, per Billboard.
Noah could be the second Grammy’s host to win an award the same night hosting. In 1980, Grammy host Kenny Rogers won Best Country Vocal Performance for “The Gambler,” according to Billboard.
On Tuesday, December 12, he also announced on Instagram that his comedy show Where Was I will be available worldwide on Netflix on December 19.
Noah started hosting the Grammys back in 2021. The comedian received his first Grammy nod four years ago for his album Son of Patricia, a finalist for Best Comedy Album. However, he didn’t host that year; he took over the following year.
Tune into the Grammys on Sunday, February 4, 2024. The award show will be broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on CBS at 8 P.M. Eastern Standard Time and 5 P.M. Pacific Standard Time. It will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
