John Krasinski returns as CIA Analyst Jack Ryan, who finds himself in a threatening position while taking on internal corruption. He discovers the convergence of a drug cartel and a terrorist organization, which puts his belief in the system he has fought for under question.
The DVD will include three discs, and the Blu-Ray will have two, while also including exclusive deleted scenes. The complete thirty episode series will also be available in Blu-Ray and DVD formats on April 16. The final season and the full series will also be available on 4K UHD.
The series is co-produced by Amazon Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios.
Lucas Ettlin directed episodes one, “Triage,” five, “Wukong,” and six, “Proof of Concept.” Jann Turner directed episodes two, “Convergence,” and four, “Bethesda.” Shana Stein directed episode three, “Sacrifices.”
Vaun Wilmott, Aaron Rabin, Joe Greskoviak, Robert Port, Jada M. Nation, and Steven Kane are credited writers for the final season. Executive Producers include Krasinski, Andrew Form, Allyson Seeger, John Kelly, Brad Fuller, and Michael Bay.
The final season was released on Amazon Prime on June 30 and concluded on July 14 with six episodes. The series originally premiered on August 31, 2018, and was created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland. It is based on Clancy’s award-winning novel series.
In his review, Zaki Hasan, film critic for TheWrap, commented, “Boy, is it great to have him back — even if only to say goodbye.”
The Final Season received a fresh 88% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.
