SZA’s hit single from her album SOS, “Snooze,” has made a resurgence. It re-entered the top 10 songs on US Spotify with 1.057 million streams.

Following the 66 annual Grammys, and what many fans believed to be a snub for SZA, her song returns to Spotify’s top 10 most streamed songs. She even performed the rising single, as well as the well-known “Kill Bill.”

Although SOS was only the star’s sophomore album, she continues to rise in the music industry. In 2017, Ctrl took the world by storm, and fans continue to anticipate SZA’s next moves and upcoming projects.

SZA was also one of the few to close out 2023 as one of the most streamed artists in the world on Spotify. Furthermore, this year, she was the Grammy’s most-nominated artist with nine nominations. These nominations included Album of the Year for SOS, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for “Kill Bill.”

In addition, she was previously nominated for album of the year as a featured artist on Doja Cat’s title, Planet Her in 2022. Moreover, she was also nominated for record and song of the year with Kendrick Lamar for “All The Stars” in 2019. The recent nominations prove to be special, as they are all for her own work.

There is no doubt that she is currently one of the most in-demand artists, and her nominations reflected that.

SZA took home the award for best R&B song for “Snooze” which was presented to her by similar music star and close friend, Lizzo. She also shouted out Taylor Swift while on stage waving, and exclaiming, “Hey, Taylor” as she accepted the award.

Later in the night, SZA lost the Album of the Year award to Swift, who broke the record (four Grammys) for most Album of the Year wins for Fearless, 1989, folklore, and now, Midnights.

Upon its release, “Snooze” attained number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, this smash hit gave SZA her eighth top-ten single and it was her fifth song on SOS to reach this peak. You can watch SZA’s performance below.
