2024 People’s Choice Awards Recognize Outstanding Excellence
The 2024 People’s Choice Awards took center stage, with Simu Liu charmingly taking the reins as this year’s host, much to the crowd’s delight. Every year, fans unite to vote for the best in film, TV, music, and pop culture.
The annual award show aims to spotlight excellence through the public’s direct involvement, fostering a sense of intimacy and personal connection that winners genuinely cherish.
Although the PCAs were overflowing with many eclectic performances and heartfelt tributes, the highlight of the evening was when Adam Sandler was honored with the prestigious People’s Icon Award.
Accepting the award in his signature comedic style, Sandler playfully pretended as though he had just won the title of Sexiest Man Alive, sending the audience into fits of laughter.

While awards were announced, and many took home well-deserved wins, Barbie emerged as the night’s shining star. The film took home six awards, including Movie of the Year, Comedy Movie of the Year, Ryan Gosling for Male Movie Star of the Year, Margot Robbie for Female Movie Star, and America Ferrera for Movie Performance of the Year.
