Keery recently discussed the meaning behind the track. Reminiscing on his move from Chicago to Los Angeles after starring in the sci-fi drama, the singer explains, “It’s about what it means to grow up and look back at a section of your life and kind of yearn for that, but then also to have a deep appreciation for what happened.”
Keery also shared that he was unaware of the song’s success until a friend notified him. The artist revealed, “Yeah, I’m not on TikTok, so my friend and longtime collaborator Adam Thein let me know that something was going on.” He continues, “There’s a little Spotify recap page for the artists, and you can see sort of a bump and then it just kept on bumping, I guess. It was kind of crazy.”
Keery has teased that new music is coming soon. He will also appear in the upcoming final season of Stranger Things. Fans can support the artist by streaming his music and watching the lyric video for the song below.
