Anitta Celebrates Birthday on Stage With a Surprise

On stage, Anitta is already a vibrant celebration. Still, on March 30, at the Tecate Pa’l Norte festival in Monterrey, Nuevo León, the atmosphere was electrified by an even more thrilling surprise.

The Brazilian pop sensation celebrated her 31 birthday with Mexican superstar Peso Pluma, who honored her birthday with “Las Mañanitas” (the birthday song).

The “LADY GAGA” singer brought a mariachi band and a big birthday cake shaped like a rear. He then revealed his identity by taking off his balaclava mask. The crowd roared when they realized who it was. Anitta was shocked to find out the man dressed in all black was Peso Pluma carrying the cake onstage.

Moreover, Peso Pluma gave a speech honoring the birthday girl:

“Let’s hear it loud for Anitta. Today is the birthday of the queen of Brazil, the queen of Brazilian funk, and she is in Mexico for the first time with us,” Peso Pluma declared in Spanish on stage. 

“Look at that cake,” Anitta responded with excitement. 

Later, amidst chants of “Beso, beso, beso” (kiss, kiss, kiss) from fans, Anitta and Peso Pluma shared a sweet and innocent kiss on the mouth, adding to the joyous atmosphere.

Anitta held a big smile on her face as she laughed, her eyes wide and filled with happiness at the surprise from her friend. It truly was a special moment for the Brazilian singer.

Additionally, the crowd held high hopes for the duo to perform their hit song “Bellakeo” together.

However, following the rendition of “Mañanitas” and the birthday cake surprise, Peso Pluma left the stage while Anitta carried on solo. She delivered a captivating performance of “Bellakeo,” among other hits. 

Throughout her set, the singer enthralled the audience, showcasing her signature twerking moves. Anitta delivered energetic renditions of songs like “Envolver,” “Mil Veces,” and “Funk Rave.”
