Indie artist Dayglow announced on Instagram that he will be releasing a new single, “Every Little Thing I Say I Do,” on May 3.

After a hiatus from the music industry, indie artist Dayglow (Sloan Struble) has announced his comeback. In a new Instagram post, he revealed that he will be releasing a new single at the beginning of May.

In the post, he stated, “My new song ‘Every Little Thing I Say I Do’ will be out forever on May 3. You can pre-save it at the link in my bio, and you’ll get access to the drum stems now, and all the other stems individually by the release date.” The picture features Struble in a red crewneck and jeans in front of a red background, seemingly playing air guitar.

He has been teasing this release since March 27, taking to social media to upload a video of him during a photoshoot, one of which would become the cover photo for the upcoming single. In the post, he hinted at a big announcement, stating “I’m just taking professional studio-quality photos of myself like I always do…this isn’t leading up to anything.”

The artist has been touring internationally, playing at recent festivals like Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Chile. However, he has not released any new music recently, with his last project being his album People In Motion, which came out in 2022. Listeners may recognize Dayglow from some of his hit songs, like “Can I Call You Tonight?,” “Hot Rod,” “Close To You,” “Run the World!!!” and “Listerine.”

Could this be the beginning of Dayglow’s next era? Only time will tell. For now, if you’d like to support the artist, you can pre-save his upcoming single, “Every Little Thing I Say I Do” here.
