On May 4, pop sensation Madonna wrapped up her Celebration Tour with a free concert at Copacabana Beach.
Bringing her career-spanning Celebration Tour to a close in Rio de Janeiro, Anitta and Pablo Vittar joined Madonna on stage.

This performance completes her global trek with a free concert at Copacabana Beach.
Anitta was the most recent celebrity invited to judge the pop icon’s dancers while she performed “Vogue.” This followed a trend of having famous personalities participate at different tour locations, such as Ricky Martin in Miami and Salma Hayek in Mexico City. Sharing love on Instagram, Anitta captioned her post, “Yesterday was a historical night for my city Rio de Janeiro.”
Moreover, drag queen and singer Pablo Vittar was another guest who joined Madonna on stage for a joyful, samba-infused version of “Music.” Their performances were adorned with Brazilian flags and included a group of kids playing drums. Additionally, the drag queen posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “Te amo,” which translates to “I love you” in Portuguese.
Itaú Bank sponsored the free concert on Saturday, May 4, and was live-streamed on TV via Globo.
It’s estimated that more than 1.6 million people attended the show. The Brazilian fans were ecstatic for the pop icon to perform.

Furthermore, there was heavy police enforcement to ensure the safety of fans. More than 3,000 police officers were deployed around the concert area.
In response to the tragic death of a young Brazilian fan due to heat exhaustion at a Taylor Swift concert last year, city officials took proactive measures for safety. Firefighters were deployed to spray water on fans to keep them cool before the event began.
Additionally, free drinking water was provided as temperatures remained around 27°C (81°F) during the late-night performance.
Moreover, Madonna’s Celebration Tour concluded its journey, which is expected to generate over $225 million in revenue by the time it finishes. The tour began in London in October and traveled through Canada, the U.S., and Mexico City.
