Paramore has joined Taylor Swift’s arsenal of elite opening acts on The Eras Tour. They will continue to open for Swift in Europe, the UK, and Ireland.

On May 9, indie rock band Paramore officially performed at Taylor Swift’s, The Eras Tour. This appearance comes after the release of their 2023 album, This Is Why. This month marks 21 years since the band formed. Their recent work also includes a cover of The Talking Heads’s “Burning Down The House,” which appears on the band’s tribute album Stop Making Sense, alongside artists like Girl in Red and Lorde.

The band made a splash with their entrance, the screen flashed letters that spelled out their name as they began with their song, “Hard Times.”

They later followed with a cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass,” as well as “Burning Down The House,” “Still Into You,” “Caught In The Middle,” “Brick By Boring Brick,” “The Only Exception,” “That’s What You Get,” “Ain’t It Fun,” and concluding with the lead single, “This Is Why” from their 2023 album.

Paramore and Swift have a history of working together. The band’s lead singer, Hayley Williams, collaborated with the musician on her song, “Castles Crumbling” from Speak Now: Taylor’s Version.
