Chrissy Chlapecka Releases New EP Girle Pop
Chrissy Chlapecka released her debut EP, Girlie Pop. Along with the new music, the TikTok star also put out a music video for her song “Sugar.”
Chlapecka first announced the project back on May 24. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “GIRLIE POP. My debut EP will be yours June 5th, 12am est.” The “I’m Really Pretty” singer expressed, “I am so grateful to be doing what I love everyday and sharing it with all of you. Music has saved my life in so many ways, and as goofy and fun and I am as an artist – this is the most thoughtful and meaningful piece of work I have created. Girlie Pop was honestly made through lots and lots of tears – but also lots and lots of laughs and beautiful moments with everyone on my team.”
Last night, the icon released the EP for the world to enjoy, just in time for pride month. Girlie Pop consists of 6 songs and has a runtime of 17 minutes and 11 seconds. The tracklist for the album includes:

- 10 Boyfriends”
The pop artist created the EP with the help of producer Dallas Caton. Along with Chlapecka, writers for the record include Alexandra Veltri, Jesse Saint John, and Michael Arellano.
The “Brat” singer then further treated fans with the release of her “Sugar” music video. When announcing the exciting project, she explained, “I heard the musical theatre girls are taking over pop music…” The one-take video, directed by Mikey Harmon, is a love letter to the theatric, with Chlapecka dressed as a showgirl as she makes dramatic expressions and dances onstage.
After the EP’s release, the “10 Boyfriends” singer took to the internet to celebrate. She declared, “love you all endlessly and i’ve never been happier.”
Additionally, the artist performed at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on the release day. The event kicks off a series of concerts for the “Verse” singer this June. The following day, the star is set to appear at the Morrocan Lounge in Los Angeles, CA, with performances in Brooklyn, NY and Chicago, IL scheduled for later in the month.
