Actor Emma Corrin’s Retro Look at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere was one of the most intriguing outfits at the event.
Corrin, best known for their role as the iconic princess Diana in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Crown, looked amazing in a look from Saint Laurent.

One of the key differences between the red carpet outfits then and now is a level of risk-taking and embracing authenticity on the carpet. Each of these looks seems so personal and fitting for the person wearing them. Welcoming one’s true self is something that Corrin knows all too well. The My Policeman actor made headlines a few months ago when they displayed body hair on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. Despite the controversy, Corrin didn’t let that stop them from gaining self-acceptance which has translated into their carpet looks.

The Cesare actor wore a mini dress from Saint Laurent with garter straps, thigh-high stockings, peep-toe heels, and structured shoulders. This look is retro and unusually sexy. It also shows a balance in masculinity and femininity which is right up Corrin’s alley as a gender non-conformist.
