Kamala Harris Releases New Advertisement for Her Presidential Campaign
Vice President Kamala Harris launched an official advertisement for her presidential campaign. The Democratic leader is nothing short of to the point in the clip.
Following President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw from the presidential race, he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his preferred candidate. The endorsement has been supported by numerous celebrities and public figures who rallied behind the vice president as a strong candidate for the November election.
Harris wasted no time, raising extreme amounts for her campaign and following up with an official advertisement days later. The video features Beyoncé’s “Freedom” to align with her reocurring theme of freedom within the promotion. In the advertisement, she states, “We choose freedom,” before the track sings along with the advocation.
The politician then states her main points with clarity: “The freedom to not just get by, but get ahead. The freedom to be safe from gun violence. The freedom to make decisions about your own body.”
The advertisement features former president Donald Trump, beginning the clip with an attention grabber. Without directly proclaiming accusations, images of Trump appearing behind the statement “There are some people who think a country of chaos, of fear, of hate” tell all. The video then uses this tactic again with images of Trump’s mug shots as the vice president describes her ideal country, adding, “Where no one is above the law.” Not only is she outlining her vision for the country if elected, but she is also simultaneously criticizing her opponent in the race.
Viewers revisited her first advertisement for the 2020 campaign, where she was prominently labeled as “anti-Trump,” now sparking comparisons between her previous and current campaigns. Both political enthusiasts and marketing analysts are taking an interest in the evolution of her messages and campaign strategies over the years.

The politician has notably clarified her preference for being addressed as “Kamala” in political advertisements, rather than just “Harris.” A scene where fans hold signs with her first name along with the recent distribution of “Kamala” signs demonstrates this. While her recent release focuses on her campaign message, some viewers have shifted the conversation to a non-political discussion about her preferred name for public reference.
Kamala's campaign just released their first ad – which included lots of people carrying plaquards reading simply "KAMALA".

Kamala is pushing that branding herself. It's their choice to do this.
