Shawn Mendes Teases New Album
Shawn Mendes is making a comeback with his new music.
On Thursday, July 25, Mendes took to social media to subtly pre-view his new album. Mendes announced his forthcoming album in March, adding that he planned to play it while headlining the music festival Rock In Rio.
The “Wonder” singer posted across his socials, a behind-the-scenes teaser video of what is presumed to be the fifth track of the album, titled “Isn’t That Enough.” Later, however, Mendes granted us an authentic glimpse of what he has been working on.
He took to Instagram to share a video showcasing his creative process while working on the album at Bear Creek Studio alongside collaborators Eddie Benjamin, Alex Pyle, Mike Sabath, and Scott Harris.
In the video, Mendes is shown writing on a whiteboard what is presumed to be the upcoming album’s setlist: “Honey,” “Just Wait,” “Isn’t That Enough,” “Hurt You,” “In Between,” “Heavy,” “That’s The Dream,” “The Mountain,” and “Why, Why, Why.”
Mendes wrote, “I wish I could show you every moment of making this album because it truly was so healing, but I’m glad you’re even getting a glimpse…definitely learned so much about not taking myself too seriously in the studio those days & how that could actually often times lead me to exactly what i was searching for.”
Mendes’ last major music release was his album Wonder in 2020, which tour was canceled. His fans are thrilled to see him fully re-emerge into the music scene.

Although we haven’t been granted an album name or a concrete release date, it is safe to assume that one is quickly approaching, considering that the Rock In Rio festival will take place this September.
