As USA Today notes, the artist hints at Drake without directly naming him in “Not Like Us.”

“This (expletive) done got too wicked to apologize / It’s different, get him whacked and disqualified.” The track intertwines themes of indulgence, spirituality, and rejecting fame’s superficial tendencies, with Drake subtly cast as an unnamed figure in the narrative. Some fans believe this surprise release could mark the beginning of a larger project, potentially shedding light on the cycles of violence and propaganda in America.

His song “Alright” became an anthem for the Black Lives Matter movement, and his Pulitzer Prize-winning album D***. solidified his reputation as a powerful voice for change. Reflecting on his upcoming Halftime Show performance, the rapper told Variety, “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”
