Sabrina Carpenter embarked on her first arena tour to promote her sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet. The “Espresso” songstress kicked off the sold-out tour in Columbus, Ohio.

Earlier this year, she joined Taylor Swift as an opening act on the record-breaking “Eras Tour,” performing in stadiums worldwide. This time, Carpenter takes center stage as the leading act, marking her first-ever arena tour after previously performing in smaller venues during the early days of her career. She has experienced a remarkable breakout year, achieving historic chart milestones and elevating her fame to new heights in less than a year.

A month after the release of her chart-topping album Short n’ Sweet, Carpenter has hit the road. The “Short n’ Sweet Tour” began with a sold-out show on September 23 and will continue across the U.S. before heading to Europe in March 2025.

Videos shared by concertgoers showcase the pop star embracing a 1950s sitcom aesthetic for her tour entrance. She begins in a bathtub, and when called to the stage, she appears wearing a towel, which she then reveals to unveil a dazzling bedazzled outfit underneath. Carpenter then officially kicks off the show with “Taste,” her latest single that explores how her essence will linger in her ex’s girlfriend’s memory.

Carpenter’s 95-minute production highlights her two most recent hit albums, with no older songs from her discography included. She delivers performances of “Feather,” “Fast Times,” and the hit “Nonsense” from her 2022 album Emails I Can’t Send, which captured the public’s attention and propelled her career forward.

The singer’s clever and fiery outro’s for “Nonsense,” which went viral, were notably absent from the opening night performance. As the outro neared, a message appeared on the screen: “We apologize for the interruption of our program due to technical difficulties.” So, it’s safe to say we may have to say goodbye to the cheeky outros.
