Charli xcx will appear on the November 16 episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL) as the host and musical guest.

Charli, well-known for her edgy flair and inventive pop sound, will promote her album Brat. This appearance will add to the singer’s rising influence, highlighting her songs and charm.

SNL unveiled the guest lineup for November programs and announced the singer’s upcoming appearance on Instagram. The “Apple” performer is the series’ host and musical guest in mid-November.

The singer’s career has been on an upward trajectory, with her music widely recognized for breaking pop norms. She recently concluded her “SWEAT” tour with friend and co-performer Troye Sivan. In an Instagram post recapping their final night on tour, the artist wrote, “this tour changed everything for me. sweat tour taught me that it’s really the people you’re around who can create the most amazing and special environment and memories.”

She also just released a new deluxe version of her album called Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat. Using billboards to hint at featured collaborations on the record, the “Von Dutch” artist has been hinting at this new edition of the beloved album for some time.

She finally released these new tracks just two weeks ago, right before the conclusion of the “SWEAT” tour. The singer thanked her producers and team for making this new project happen “i’m so happy that all the collaborators on this record were so open to exploring and reinterpreting the songs with me.”

It’s safe to say that with a blend of humor and satire, SNL is a fitting venue for the singer to channel the “bratty” energy her new album embodies. As both a musician and host now, she joins the ranks of artists who have embraced the challenge of comedy on SNL.

Fans eagerly await to see her sketches, which may feature nods to her Brat era.

Until November 16, you can listen to the deluxe version of Brat here.
