The Avengers cast assembled to announce their 2024 presidential endorsement, Kamala Harris, for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Tomorrow, the United States will elect its new president: either Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump. Until then, celebrities have consistently used their platforms to endorse and encourage voter participation or withdraw support. Nicky Jam, from Puerto Rico, retracted his endorsement for former President Donald Trump after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe insulted his home island at Trump’s rally. In line with this, The Avengers cast—Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Danai Gurira, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, and Mark Ruffalo—have assembled to endorse Kamala Harris in a new video.

The video on Robert Downey Jr.’s Instagram displays The Avengers on what seems to be a group video call. Danai Gurira opens the conversation, “Scarlett, it is our pleasure to come together and to get the vote out this election.” After Paul asks, “How can we be of service?” Mark Ruffalo responds, “How about we start with what our voting plans are going to be. Who we’re going to bring to the polls with us. That sort of thing.”

Downey Jr. interrupts Ruffalo by raising his hand, stating, “Just-I, I think Kamala Harris needs a catchphrase.” Everyone on the call agrees and brainstorms ideas. Chris Evans’s proposal: “I can do this all day.” His suggestion is shut down, and after a few more recommendations are declared, Don Cheadle announces one that many agree with: “I’m Kamala Harris, and I am down with democracy.” The video ends with “November 5” written across the scene, to remind viewers when Election Day is.

This video is not the first time the actors teamed up for VP Harris. For the Biden-Harris presidential campaign in 2020, the Marvel actors asked herquestions regarding policies, along with actors Zoe Saldana and Paul Rudd on the Q&A call. The call was designed as a fundraiser, where viewers could donate to Democratic candidates across the country and involved in the Presidential election.
