Karol G is the first artist to collaborate with the American doll brand Bratz, marking her impact on pop culture and the music industry.

Karol G, known as “La Bichota,” has partnered with MGA Entertainment’s Bratz to launch her line of dolls. This limited-edition collection represents a significant milestone in the singer’s career and aims to inspire others by embodying what it means to be “Bichota” while connecting with Bratz’s commitment to authenticity. The doll is available to purchase next month, on December 3, with accessories and an accurate lookalike of the Colombian singer.

The Bratz X Karol G collector doll’s inspiration comes from the artist’s 2023 Latin Grammy award-winning look, with a rose gold, short metallic bustier dress with intricate detailing and platform heels. From her platinum blonde and pink hair to her light glam makeup, the look also comes with an acid wash t-shirt and sweatpants set, similar to the merch she sold during her “Mañana Será Bonito Tour.” She also comes with a long-sleeved crop top with red hearts to mix and match with the other outfits. Accessories include jewelry, a lip-shaped purse, a mini vinyl of her Grammy-winning album Mañana Será Bonito, and more.

“Karol G is a global pop sensation and a forward-thinker when it comes to her style. Her vibrant, urban wardrobe and signature colorful hairstyles are a huge part of her persona,” stated the creative director of Bratz, Jasmin Larian-Hekmat, to Rolling Stone. “She’s not just the queen of reggaeton but also a style icon who embodies the Bratz aesthetic, making her a perfect partner for the brand.”

“I can’t believe I’m celebrating another significant milestone in my career with my very first doll — and I’m incredibly proud that it’s with Bratz, a brand I’ve always been a superfan of since childhood!” she detailed in a statement. “It’s surreal to think that just over a year ago, I was celebrating my first Latin Grammy win, and now I have the chance to share a doll inspired by that pivotal moment in my career. Bratz are “Bichotas” in their own right — they’re independent, bold and powerful trendsetters who have been part of our lives since the early 2000s. This collaboration is a true labor of love and a celebration for fans across Latin America and beyond.”

Although this is Bratz’s first collaboration with an artist, Bratz has previously teamed up with other brands and individuals. Kylie Jenner released a “Mini Bratz” collection, the beauty brand Colourpop released a makeup collection, and the 2004 film Mean Girls released a limited-edition collection in honor of the 20-year celebration.
