Hollywood’s Finest Are Coming Together for Wildfire Relief

As the Southern California wildfire goes into another week, relief efforts have already begun to aid its victims.

As the Southern California wildfire goes into another week, relief efforts have already begun to aid its victims.

Many in the entertainment industry, including those who call California home, have already pleaded for donations to relief efforts. Celebrities including Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow, Taylor Swift, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Oprah have given donations in the millions. Even the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have donated funds and volunteered in the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena.

Agencies and Awareness

The most significant relief collective comes from the SoCal Fire Fund. Spearheaded by the philanthropic branch of the Creative Artist Agency (CAA), along with aid from Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE), the LA Unified School District Education Foundation, and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).

SoCal Fire Fund aims to gather raids and funds and accept donations to support wildfire victims in the short and long term.

On January 17, Deadline reported the SoCal Fire Fund joined forces with Charitybuzz to launch a campaign and sweepstakes. Enter bids to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences with celebrities. Donations start at $10 per entry, with 100% of proceeds going to wildfire relief.

Some exclusive experiences that are up for grabs include:

  • A visit to the Set of Only Murder in the Buildings in New York City
  • Exclusive red-carpet access to the Jurassic World: Rebirth premiere and meet Scarlett Johansson
  • Meet George Clooney at the Good Night, and Good Luck Premiere in Los Angeles
  • Meet the Cast of The White Lotus
  • Visit the Set of RuPaul’s Drag Race in time for the grand finale
  • A round of golf with Larry David and Doc Rivers
  • Meet Colin Farrell and visit the set of AppleTV +’s Sugar

You can also enter for a chance to win VIP Experiences, which include:

  • Meet Andy Cohen on the set of Watch What Happens Live!
  • A night out with the Chainsmokers in Las Vegas
  • A lunch with Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts

Previously offered was a meet and greet with Ashley Park and Lily Collins the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris.

Actress Michelle Pfeiffer also took to Instagram, encouraging followers to donate relief. Pfeiffer and her husband, David E. Kelly, have pledged to match all donations made through the link in her bio, promising $500,000.
