Clark appeared in the musician’s family’s suite after revealing that the pop star had become a close friend. From there, Swift had invited Clark to attend a Chiefs game during her Eras Tour concert in November, where the gaurd also received four bags full of merchandise from the singer. Two months later, the basketball star accepted the pop star’s invitation, and the two watched Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs starting tight end Travis Kelce, who ended the playoff game with 117 receiving yards, one touchdown, and a victory.

Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark were seen having a conversation during the Chiefs game in Kansas City.

At the start of the game, Swift and Clark were seated separately but moved to sit together after a major play.

Clark is an Iowa native but also a long-time Chiefs fan. She wore a custom red jacket to support her favorite NFL team. During an episode of Travis Kelce and brother Jason’s New Heights Podcast, the player explained, “I had family in Kansas City, and I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, which is only three hours from Kansas City.”

She continued, “My brother loved Tony Gonzalez,” the Chiefs Hall of Fame tight end who played for the Chiefs from 1997 to 2009. The sportswoman said that Kelce and Quarterback Patrick Mahomes are her favorite Chiefs players.

With time on her hands now that the Women’s Basketball Association (WNBA) is in the middle of its offseason, the athlete is no stranger to making appearances at sports games. Earlier this month, on January 4, she attended a Big East college basketball game between the Butler University Bulldogs and the St. John’s University Red Storm in Jamaica, Queens, NY. Clark was spotted by fans sitting behind the Butler University bench wearing a black hat to cover her hair as she rooted for her boyfriend Conor McCaffery’s team. McCaffery is a former University of Iowa basketball player and currently works as an assistant coach for Butler University.
