Khloé Kardashian launched her new podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, with Jay Shetty as her first guest.

On the podcast, Kardashian described her divorce from Lamar Odom as “a lot harder” than her breakup with Tristan Thompson. After a month of dating, the co-founder of the clothing brand Good American and the Lakers player got married in 2009.

Their marriage failed mainly due to Lamar’s struggle with substance abuse and cheating on his part. She filed for divorce in 2013 but stayed with him to aid his recovery after an almost fatal overdose in 2015. In 2016, their divorce was finalized.

She referenced her past marriage during their discussion: “With my first husband, I was younger, and I think that was a lot harder for me.”

The reality star reflected on the healing process after a relationship, “But what’s interesting was with each relationship where something bad has happened, I didn’t take it and was like, ‘Whoa is me. I’m this victim,’ I took it more like, ‘Okay, that’s another layer of armor that I’m putting on myself that I can get through anything else that happens in my life, but it’s also not going to harden me for my next relationship.”

The mother of two had an on-and-off relationship with her children’s father and basketball player, Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Their relationship consisted of countless instances of infidelity from Thompson, even welcoming another child from another woman. The NBA player went as far as to pursue Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods, while with the entrepreneur.

Regardless of her past relationship trauma, she has hope for the future. She commented, “I am one of those hopeless romantics, and I love the fairy tale and the fantasy — regardless of what’s ever happened to me.”

For now, she is focused on being the fantastic mother she is to True and Tatum. You can catch Khloé in Wonderland on all podcast streaming platforms.
