Comedian Nikki Glaser is a Taylor Swift superfan, but won’t approach her at events.

During the 2025 Grammys, Glaser saw the pop star at the event. On an episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, she explained why she refrains from going up to Swift. “I don’t wanna take someone’s energy away [when] I require their energy to be put into making great music. I don’t want her to make a less great song because she had to be like, ‘Nice to meet you,’ and like, hold me as I’m crying.”

Additionally, the stand-up stated, “I will never be the one to be like, ‘Excuse me,’ ever,” she shared on Monday. “It’s almost rude what I do when I’m in the same room as Taylor Swift, because I won’t even look her way. It will take [her tapping me on the shoulder].”

The comedian revealed that she attended the “Eras Tour” a total of twenty-two times, spending nearly $100,000 to see the singer. Glaser mentioned that the tour was “all well worth it” and “would’ve paid even more.”

Meanwhile, the Golden Globes host shared some of the reasons she loves the 1989 singer. “Taylor had something to prove. Even showing up on the scene coming out as a country artist and then making it into pop music,” the comedian stated. “She definitely is inspired by people doubting her. … The difference between great and good is just hard work.”

The Roast of Tom Brady host mentioned how she justified spending the money on the concerts. ‘‘It’s no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift.’ People spend that much on their kids playing hockey for five years, so it’s OK.”

The FBOY Island emcee shared “…people were coming up to me, being like, ‘Oh my God, I love you’ — people I’m fans of!” Glaser specifically mentioned that superstar Olivia Rodrigo approached her, describing the moment as  “the biggest gift of my life.”
