Bad Bunny is no stranger to pushing boundaries, and his latest move proves it once again. The global music sensation, actor, and occasional pro wrestler is now adding “model” to his ever-expanding résumé with a bold new Calvin Klein campaign that turns up the heat just in time for spring.

Shot by the legendary Mario Sorrenti, Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny joins an elite roster of Calvin Klein faces, including Justin Bieber, Jeremy Allen White, Nick Jonas, and Mark Wahlberg. While the annual campaign follows the brand’s signature aesthetic, the “DtMF” singer put his own spin on it the best way he knows how—through music.

“The easiest and most impactful way for me to put my signature on any project is always through music,” he told GQ. Backing the campaign’s video is his track “EoO” from his latest album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, once again bringing his culture to the forefront.

“I truly believe that the best way to make an impact is by being genuine, authentic, and the best version of yourself—that’s exactly what my latest album is all about,” he added.

Much like the stripped-down album, focusing on salsa rhythms to convey a love letter to the island, the shoot itself featured a stripped-down version of the artist, which took a lot of preparation.

“I had a whole routine focused on my physique and getting into the best shape for this campaign…I was eating super clean and training as much as possible,” he explained. Given that he prepped while in New York City, his favorite city for food, pulling off the campaign was no easy feat.

Fans took to social media with a slew of reactionary gifs and photos – only a few appropriate for publishing.

This year has been a year of ups for the superstar. Aside from his global-charting album, he’s thrown his hat in several arenas. From a smashing performance at SNL50, a Puerto Rican residency, and starring alongside Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2, which just released its trailer today, there are no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Bad Bunny continues to bring his signature energy and effortless cool to every project he signs onto, proving once again why he’s in a league of his own.
