Lady Gaga is back on the Billboard Hot 100 with 10 songs from her latest album, MAYHEM, making the chart.
MAYHEM, which dropped earlier this month, currently sits at number one on the Billboard 200. This is her seventh album to reach the top spot, putting her at fifth all-time for most number ones by female artists, tying her with Janet Jackson. Ahead of them is Taylor Swift, Barbra Streisand, Madonna, and Beyoncé. Swift holds the record with 14.
The album is also number one on the Top Dance Albums chart, making this the “Telephone” singer’s eighth album on this chart. This accomplishment establishes her as the artist with the most number ones on this chart.
“Die With A Smile,” a collabortion with Bruno Mars, is at number two on the Hot 100. In the top 20 sits “Abracadabra” at number 19. Followed by “Garden of Eden” (52), “Vanish Into You” (61), “How Bad Do U Want Me” (69), “Disease” (71), “Perfect Celebrity” (81), “Zombieboy” (85), “Killah (feat. Gesaffelstein)” (93), and “LoveDrug” (95).
This is the second time “Disease” enters the chart. It reached its highest placement, number 27, in November of last year.
Gaga has featured in the chart 46 times in her career. Her debut entry was with “Just Dance,” featuring Colby O’Donis, which reached number one and spent three weeks at the top. In total, she’s had six number-one songs and 18 in the top 10. Her first album, The Fame, spent 193 weeks at number one of the Billboard 200.
The “Paparazzi” singer has several shows coming up, including performances in California, Alabama, Washington, North Carolina, Mexico, and Singapore. She’s also hosting a free concert in Rio de Janeiro at Copacabana Beach on May 3. This will be her first time performing in Brazil since 2012.
