Khloé Kardashian gets candid with Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy, opening up about her highly publicized cheating scandal with ex-husband Lamar Odom.

After a month of dating, the couple married in 2009, but their relationship soon unraveled due to Odom’s struggles with substance abuse and infidelity. Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, yet remained by his side during his recovery from a near-fatal overdose in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2016.

In an episode titled “I’m done with NBA players,” the mother of two discussed relationships and family. The Good American founder shared her experience with infidelity. “We were married. He was doing his thing, and he went down to some motel in Downtown L.A. and was with a girl. I saw in the window that he and this girl were … they were either naked or she was in lingerie, something like that.”

The reality star reflected on finding out about the cheating scandal. She shared, “I knocked on the door. They answered it for some reason, and I just started going ballistic. And I remember the next day it was, I think, Penelope’s birthday party, and it was a cowboy party, and my knuckles were all bloody and gross, and I just had bandanas wrapped around [them]. I was on theme, and I acted as if nothing ever happened.”

Meanwhile, in his memoirDarkness to Light, Odom opened up about the struggles in his marriage. He shared, “At the start of our marriage, I was faithful to her,” he wrote. “I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career, and infidelity. Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression?”

Regardless of her past relationship trauma, the influencer has hope. On an episode of her new podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, she talks about what the future holds for her romantically. She commented, “I am one of those hopeless romantics, and I love the fairy tale and the fantasy, regardless of what’s ever happened to me.”
