Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry is making waves with readers, becoming one of Amazon’s best-selling novels.

The new release started appearing on bookshelves on April 22 and has since been a big hit among romance lovers. As one of the most anticipated book releases of the year, Henry’s novel currently sits in third place on Amazon’s best-selling books list.

The story follows two writers. Alice Scott is a young woman waiting for her breakthrough moment that will propel her career to new heights. Hayden Anderson, on the other hand, is an established, award-winning writer.

“They’re both on balmy Little Crescent Island for the same reason: To write the biography of a woman no one has seen in years — or at least to meet with the octogenarian who claims to be the Margaret Ives,” the novel’s description states. “Tragic heiress, former tabloid princess, and daughter of one of the most storied (and scandalous) families of the 20th Century.”

Ives pits the writers together in a one-month competition to prove to her which one of them should write her life story.

“But the problem is, Margaret is only giving each of them pieces of her story. Pieces they can’t swap to put together because of an ironclad NDA and an inconvenient yearning pulsing between them every time they’re in the same room,” the description continues.

Henry achieved massive success as an author after her novel Beach Read rose to popularity. Her prosperity continues to build as several of her novels are set to hit the big screen. Beach Read, Book Lovers, and Funny Story are slated to become films, while The People We Meet on Vacation and Happy Place were picked up by Netflix.

In addition to the regular edition of the novel that can be purchased on Amazon or from independent booksellers, limited-edition versions can be purchased from Target and Barnes & Noble.
