Bethenny Frankel Gets Vulnerable Talking About Her New Move to Beautiful Florida
Bethenny Frankel revealed the real reason she is moving to Florida.
The Skinny Girl founder took to TikTok to share the news of her move. “The morning of March 19th, this wasn’t even a thought and by that evening, a series of events transpired and we decided it was the best move to move here,” she stated.

Frankel revealed that her previous home felt overwhelming, contributing to a sense of being “drowned” by its size and complexity. “It was a massive property, and I made the decision to buy that property when I was in a different stage of my life. I thought it would be this, like, big family home and that I’d be entertaining there a lot.”
The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared that the house contributed to her loneliness. “The house was drowning me because it had an apple orchard, it was a historical house, it had all this property, and it was beautiful and amazing for a big family with kids and grandparents. It just ended up being a place that I spent a lot of time alone [in] because I didn’t really know many people in that community. It was lonely.” Seeking a lighter future, Frankel sold her former home and purchased a new one in Florida within five weeks.
The influencer reflected on her journey to sell her home. “My simplification is someone else’s complication ‘cause I’m still going to be in a beautiful home, but I just took on too much and the idea of something was different than the reality of it.”
Frankel gained recognition as a contestant on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart in 2005, where she was the first runner-up. Later, she starred in The Real Housewives of New York City. Additionally, Frankel started a spinoff series, Bethenny Ever After. Afterward, she hosted a talk show, Bethenny, from 2013 to 2014.
In 2009, Frankel also released Skinnygirl Cocktails, a drink made with low-calorie ingredients. Since then, the brand has expanded to food, shapewear, and accessories.
