Taylor Lautner and Wife Tay Welcome New Baby Lennon
The Lautner household just got a little bigger — and a whole lot cuter. Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay Lautner, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl with a name that sweetly honors them both. The couple shared the joyful news on September 23, giving fans their first glimpse of their newest addition.

In a joint Instagram post, the couple revealed that their daughter, Lennon Taylor Lautner, was born on September 16, 2026. “One week loving our sweet little Lenny,” they wrote, sharing an adorable photo of the newborn dressed in a soft pink onesie and resting on a matching blanket, with an embroidered keepsake displaying her name beside her.
Her middle name has an extra-special family connection. Since both parents share the name Taylor, the couple carried their shared name into their daughter’s, making Lennon Taylor Lautner the newest Taylor in the family. During her pregnancy, Tay even teased that Taylor “may be in the mix” when asked whether they were considering it for their baby’s name.
A Taylor Lautner + Tay Lautner Love Story Years in the Making
Taylor, best known for portraying Jacob Black in the ‘Twilight’ films, and Tay, a registered nurse and content creator, first went public with their relationship in 2018 and married in November 2022. The two were introduced by Taylor’s sister, Makena Moore, who was so convinced they would hit it off that Taylor later recalled her telling him, “Dude, I found your future wife. You need to meet this girl.”
The couple announced their pregnancy in March with a series of sweet photos, cheekily captioning the reveal, “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?” They revealed in June that they were expecting a daughter, fulfilling Taylor’s longtime dream of becoming a girl dad.
Throughout her pregnancy, Tay documented parts of her journey to motherhood, candidly discussing everything from keeping the pregnancy private in its early stages to the physical changes she experienced. The couple also co-hosts ‘The Squeeze,’ their podcast centered on mental health and well-being.
For Taylor, fatherhood has been a dream years in the making. As far back as 2016, years before meeting Tay, the actor spoke publicly about how much he loved children and family and how much he looked forward to becoming a father one day.
Now, with little Lenny here, that dream is finally a reality.
