This 11 year old has led a national movement! If you love books, you’re just like Marley Dias. Frustrated with the lack of colored characters in the books she’s read in school, she decided to create a movement to have all stories told. She is the founder of the #1000BlackGirlBooks initiative with the hope of collecting/donating 1,000 books about girls of color. However, Dias has collected 4,000 books and counting! She proves you can do amazing things no matter how old you are!
