Donald Trump Says He Wants To Provide “Insurance For Everybody”

According to CNN, the president-elect Trump is putting his final touches on an Obamacare replacement plan. For almost a decade Republicans have been trying to repeal the affordable care act, and now their efforts may finally come to fruition, although a plan replacement hasn’t been released. Trump has said that Americans, “can expect to have great health care. It will be in a much simplified form. Much less expensive and much better.” He wants drug companies to find a more efficient way to lower their prices by working directly with Medicare and Medicaid. Those who have pre-existing insurance, as well as people who rely on Obamacare are rightfully worried. Only time will tell how this will affect our communities.
