J.K. Rowling Thanks Her Fans
As any Harry Potter fan knows, today marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Who would have thought that a book about a little wizard and a ragtag team of amazing friends could have spawned a series, a movie franchise, and a massive (worldwide) fan following?
J.K. Rowling recently took to Twitter, and thanked the people who made this possible:
“20 years ago today a world that I had lived in alone was suddenly open to others. It’s been wonderful. Thank you. #HarryPotter20”
