The Year of Zendaya
It looks like this is the year for Zendaya.
Not only has she been busy promoting Spider-man: Homecoming, but her role in The Greatest Showman also looks pretty amazing. The trailer was recently released, and it depicts a true rags-to-riches story about P.T. Barnum. Zendaya will be playing a trapeze artist named Anne who catches the eye of Zac Efron’s character, Phillip. Not only will Zendaya be singing, but she also has performed all of the stunt work required of being Anne.
In an older interview with Glamour Magazine, Efron had been pretty vocal about the actress’s talents:
“She’s beautiful and rad, with a fearlessness that is impressive in someone her age. I think I still have quite a bit to learn from Zendaya.”
Everyone seems to be in love with her courage and charms. We can’t wait to see her in the film!
