Katy Perry To Host the 2017 VMAs
Katy Perry has been nowhere near silent ever since her album, Witness, came out. It comes as no surprise that she will be hosting and performing at this year’s VMAs. Between promoting her concert tour and making headlines about her upcoming American Idol gig, it seems like Perry hasn’t had time to rest.
This year’s VMAs looks like it’ll be a pretty big hit. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Perry has been preparing nonstop for the hosting gig:
“I’ve been training with MTV in zero gravity, eating astronaut ice cream, and I’m on a group text with Buzz Aldrin and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Come August 27th, I’ll be ready to be your MOONWOMAN! Brace for impact, kids.”
We hope to see something awesome this summer! Can’t wait to see what surprises Katy comes up with for the audience! The batch of attendees are top notch, so the show will certainly be entertaining.
