Frankie Muniz Opens Up About Past Health Scares
The Malcolm in the Middle star says he can’t even remember his time on the show.Muniz experienced a mini stroke back in 2012, and another one back in 2013. Before that, he had suffered from multiple concussions along with breaking his back in a car accident. Though he has dealt with some serious health scares, which he discussed with his Dancing With the Stars partner Whitney Carson on the show, Muniz has not slowed down.

He has gotten candid with his health though. Talking about his time on DWTS, he told PEOPLE after a filming, “I think we talk about my injuries every day because I have a creaky, old body. I’m 31 but feel like I have the creaky, old body of a 71-year-old.” He does try his best though to keep his body in the best shape possible, as he still considers himself an athletic person.
His memory is a struggle though. Muniz’s girlfriend, model Paige Price, is said to have kept a daily journal of all the things he has done this past year, as his current memory as well has been effected by his past strokes and concussions. This includes a trip the pair took to Australia together, which he is unable to recall without her help.
He won’t let these struggles bring him down though. “My most memorable year is 2017, because I learned to live in the present,” he’s said.
It’s great to see this once child star powering through his struggles while keeping a positive attitude. We definitely know who we are rooting for this season of DWTS.
