The world is embracing his legacy.
Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using the tactics of nonviolence and civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs and inspired by the nonviolent activism of Mahatma Gandhi.

Even Trump had something to say about MLK. Hopefully Trump will not just read words on a screen as he does in this video, but actually, take to heart what MLK stood for. From his comments on Muslims, Mexicans, referring to Black NFL players as SOB’s and calling black people, “the blacks,” he may need to look deeper than a speech and words and practice what MLK stood for with his actions.
