Kerry Washington Makes Guest Appearance on ‘The Ellen Show’

Ellen recently had a superstar actress appear on her show to inform fans about the significance of voting and upcoming projects.

On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the Scandal star guest appeared on The Ellen Show to talk her upcoming Hulu project.

Washington mentioned her new role in Hulu’s miniseries, Little Fires Everywhere, which she co-executive produces with Reese Witherspoon.

Along with talking about her upcoming role, Kerry Washington also discussed the power of voting and canvassing with college students for the the recent Virginia elections.

Washington emphasized how important it was for everyone to vote and that with voting there could be successful change within communities.

Washington also discussed her new Netflix film, American Son, which highlights racial dynamics in interracial relationships and intraracial tensions. Kerry then mentioned how she shared a Shakespeare stage with Gwyneth Paltrow in school, their school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Plus, Kerry wins the audience a $250 Shutterfly gift card.
