‘Radium Girls’ Starring Joey King Coming to Select Theaters Soon
It’s that time where we get to see Joey King on screen again and this time she’s starring in a historic movie called Radium Girls, set to come out on April 3rd of this year.

The film is based on the true events that took place at a large scale radium company in the 20th century, called American Radium in the movie. The female factory workers contract radiation poisoning from the glow in the dark paint they use (which contains radium) on the watches they assisted in manufacturing.
King plays Bessie, a soul determined to bring an end to the radium company, because of the said illnesses. Her and a group of others band together to get the justice they deserve and show what it truly means to fight for what’s right.
