Cameron Boyce Remembered One Year After His Untimely Passing

Beloved actor Cameron Boyce’s life was taken too soon, but the world hasn’t forgotten his legacy.
One year ago the world was shaken when Disney star Cameron Boyce passed away on July 7th, 2019. At the young age of 20 years old, Boyce’s life was taken due to an “ongoing medical condition.” Boyce’s mother, Libby Boyce, later identified the condition as epilepsy. According to her, loved ones remembered Boyce as “magic” and “one-of-a-kind.”
Boyce’s presence made such a grand unforgettable impression on others that many forms of tribute have been expressed to honor him. Aside from his family, many famous faces have expressed their mourning for the star including Sofia Carson, Peyton List, and Dove Cameron. Jessie Zoom cast reunions, tattoos, and the charity started in Boyce’s name are just a few examples of the effort made to shine a light on his memory. The entire premiere of Descendants 3 was even dedicated to Boyce from Disney.
Boyce’s costar on Jessie, Skai Jackson, was one of the first celebs to voice her love for the actor via social media.

Boyce’s costar on Descendants, Sofia Carson, took to Instagram to share her love.
The star’s father, Victor Boyce, also took to Instagram with words of affection.
Peyton List also acknowledged the anniversary of Cameron’s death by sharing a video tribute posted by The Cameron Boyce Foundation to her Instagram stories.
The video serves as a tribute to unseen videos and photos from friends and family as well as raises awareness for epilepsy-related deaths.
