Demi Lovato uses her platform to demand justice for Vanessa Guillen.
As the country mourns the news of Vanessa Guillen, Demi Lovato has used her platform on how we can demand justice for the innocent and tragic passing of a young U.S. soldier.

Vanessa Guillen was a soldier stationed at Fort Hood in Texas. After she went missing two months ago, her family has been asking for an investigation within the base for more information on Guillen’s possible whereabouts. The country has joined in this fight, demanding an investigation within the army base where Guillen was stationed.

As the nation continued demanding justice, an investigation began 60 days after Guillen was reported missing.

The Guillen’s family attorney, Natalie Khawam, is currently working on the I Am Vanessa Guillen Bill, a reform that can help active soldiers report sexual harassment without fear of retaliation.
