See How Nia Sioux Is Using Her Platform to Highlight Black Lives Matter Role Models
Dance Moms alumn Nia Sioux is using her platform to promote young girls who are at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter campaign.
Sioux has made it her mission to choose young inspiring role models to post on her social media in order to spread change. One of the notable women highlighted was young activist Thandiwe Abdullah, a sixteen-year-old who co-founded the Black Lives Matter Youth Vanguard in Los Angeles. The teen, like Siou,x is using her media to demand justice and be the change that is so desperately needed.
Another and even younger activist that Sioux felt personally moved by was 7-year-old Wynta-Amor Rogers. The young girl insisted on attending a Black Lives Matter march and has gone viral for her fierce and powerful chanting. Repeating the phrase “No justice, no peace,” the seven-year-old used her voice to speak out against racial injustice.
Sioux is doing what she can by highlighting many powerful female activists. We can join her by speaking out and using our platforms to demand change and justice as well!
