End Your Week on a High Note by Watching Jimmy Fallon’s Cover of Benee’s ‘Supalonley’

In a new Instagram video, Jimmy Fallon took “Supalonley” by Benee and turned it into his own ukulele hit.

Jimmy Fallon has never been one to shy away from trends, and right now, Benee is one of the trendiest artists out there.

Benee is the hot new artist behind the breakout hit “Supalonley,” which features Gus Dapperton, has amassed almost 340 million streams on Spotify thanks to its breakthrough on TikTok earlier this year.

The original version of “Supalonley” has been used in over 12 million TikTok videos, including some by Charli D’Amelio, the most followed person on the platform, and YouTuber Emma Chamberlin.

Based in New Zealand, 19-year-old Benee has only been making music since late 2017 and has yet to release a debut album, but her career has recently been taken to new heights.

A few weeks ago, Benee was invited to perform her hit on The Tonight Show: At Home Edition and Jimmy gushed about just how much he loves the song.

Well, he has now taken his love for it even further, having posted his own acoustic ukulele rendition of it on Instagram.

“#Supalonely ukulele remix collab, @beneemusic?” Jimmy asked in his caption.

Fans of both Benee and Jimmy loved the cover, including actress Mindy Kaling who commented “This is awesome,” on the clip.

Benee reposted the video of Jimmy singing her song to her own Instagram story, writing “Kween” underneath it.

Jimmy also posted the video to his TikTok page, where YouTuber David Dobrik commented “Hahah perfect!!!”

“Supalonley,” was not the lead single off Benee’s 2019 EP, STELLA & STEVE, but it was sent to radio as a single in 2020 due to its popularity. 

In less than a year Benee has gone from a rising star to a household name as “Supalonley” continues to sweep the globe, and with Jimmy Fallon in her corner, she’ll only continue to go far.
