Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team

After making the adjustments to safely navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, also known as DCC, have selected the candidates to move on to training camp.

The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders host yearly auditions to find new rookie candidates who can fill veteran’s boots that are retiring.

This year, the audition process went a little differently with the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic affecting how many people can gather in a room at once. In previous seasons, they’ve had over 500 women from all across the world come to Dallas, Texas to audition.

To accommodate for the virus, the DCC hosted their first-ever virtual auditions. Although some questioned the process, Kelly and Judy, two former DCC did a phenomenal job at adjusting the process.

After weeks of auditioning and sorting through audition tapes, Kelly and Judy have selected the candidates who will be moving on to training camp. This season will consist of 20 rookie candidates and a majority of the former DCC’s from the previous season.

The official DCC Instagram shared a sneak peek photo, showing off some of the new rookie candidates in a social distancing meeting.
