Pattinson and McGregor became ambassadors in 2015 and were joined by Collins in 2018, making her the first female ambassador for the GO Campaign. GO was founded by Scott Fifer in 2006 to help children in Tanzania.

According to Variety, since Pattinson joined the organization, his fanbase has helped raise over $100,000 for the cause. In a statement, Pattinson shared his thoughts about the event’s transition to a virtual platform this year.

“I’m grateful that we can still come together virtually and now globally to help raise funds for GO Campaign and its mission to support families and children worldwide,” Pattinson said.

Collins added to his statement with her own, sharing her excitement for the annual charity event.

“We have the power and platform to make really impactful changes to so many people’s lives. I love supporting the GO Campaign and am excited about helping children and families in all these communities,” Collins said.

McGregor says that the virtual setting still allows for a “meaningful impact.”

“In this time when we are restricted in our travel, it’s fantastic that GO Campaign still allows us to make a meaningful impact around the world,” McGregor said.

The three will be joined by musical guests HAIM, Judith Hill, and include a performance by McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

To attend the event, you can register on the GO Campaign’s official website here. The 14th annual GO Gala will take place virtually on October 4.
