On Sunday, November 15, Tracee Ellis Ross will accept the award for Fashion Icon in honor of her career that includes model, fashion-editor, entrepreneur, and award-winning actress.

Ross has always been a prominent figure for her fashion and now she will be graced with the Fashion Icon award at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards. Jen Neal, General Manager of E! said, “Her influence in the entertainment and fashion spaces are incomparable and we are delighted to honor her with the Fashion Icon Award.”

Ross is well-known for her illustrious Hollywood career which you might have seen in shows like Girlfriends or Black-ish and all its sequels. Her role as Dr. Rainbow “Bow” Johnson scored her nominations at the Critics Choice Awards, the Primetime Emmy Awards, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards numerous times. Her crowning achievement was winning a Golden Globe for that very role.

It should come as no surprise that she has achieved so much in her professional life as her mother is the legendary Diana Ross. The very same Diana Ross who sang, “Where Did Our Love Go” with The Supremes, and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” She was also a Golden Globe-winning actress, has a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is a recipient of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The apple certainly does not fall far from the tree.

Now if we put aside her accomplishments and her family history, Tracee Ellis Ross is known for her red carpet style. Her signature style includes bright colors, bold silhouettes, and she loves the glitz and glam Hollywood is known for.

The real question her fans are asking now is what will she wear to accept her award? We await anxiously and love seeing such an influential woman accept the honor of receiving the Fashion Icon Award. You can watch her receive the award on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. live on E!.
